Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026. This page explains in plain language how information is handled on this website and when you contact us.

This is not legal advice from a law firm. It is a straightforward explanation of how Local Business Sites treats information, written so you know what to expect before you get in touch. If anything here is unclear, you can ask by email at contact@localbusinesssites.com.

Who operates this site

Local Business Sites is an independent web project. The public website at localbusinesssites.com is a static site. It does not offer user accounts, a login area or a customer dashboard on this domain.

What this website collects by itself

The pages you read here are static HTML files. When you open a page, your browser requests the file from the hosting server. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as the page requested, the time and a general technical identifier. That logging is normal for any website and is controlled by the hosting company, not by custom tracking code on these pages.

At the time this policy was written, this site does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, remarketing tools or social media tracking embeds. There is no cookie banner because there are no optional tracking cookies set by us on the pages themselves. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated.

When you contact us by email

Most interaction happens by email to contact@localbusinesssites.com. When you write, you choose what to include. A typical project request may contain your business name, location, industry, services, budget, deadline and a contact email or phone number. You provide this voluntarily so we can reply with a quote and build your website if you go ahead.

We use that information only to handle your enquiry, run the project you asked for and keep a reasonable record of what was agreed. We do not sell your details to marketers and we do not add you to unrelated mailing lists.

How long we keep emails

Emails related to a project are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work, answer follow-up questions and maintain a fair record of agreements. If you want a message deleted after a project ends, you can ask and we will remove it unless we must keep it for a genuine legal or accounting reason.

Content you send for your website

If you become a client, you may send text, logos, photos and other material for your own site. That content is used only to build and maintain your website as agreed. You remain responsible for having the right to use the material you supply, such as photos of your own work or images you own.

Links to other websites

Some pages may link to external websites. Those sites have their own privacy rules. This policy applies only to localbusinesssites.com and to email contact through the address shown on this site.

Security

Because the public site is static, there is no database of visitors and no admin panel open to the internet on this domain. Email is a separate channel. Use a sensible email provider on your side, and avoid sending passwords or payment card numbers by email. If payment is needed for a project, the method is agreed individually and confirmed before you pay.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to request deletion. Send your request to contact@localbusinesssites.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.

Children

This service is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site works changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top adjusted. Significant changes that affect how client data is handled will be communicated clearly when they matter to an active project.
